Support the Arts, Support the Kids
Money is getting harder and harder to come by. This is especially true for fine arts departments in schools.
Currently, our main source of income is in jeopardy: a concession stand at Dallas Cowboys Stadium. As long as the NFL remians in lockout, we cannot work those games. (Though it looks as if we're getting closer to a resolution.) The band/Band Boosters earn a lot of money at those games. Yes, there are other events, like concerts and soccer, but we don't earn nearly as much money.
But regardless of the NFL, you can still help! Any and all help is greatly appreciated and put to good use. Keep reading to find out the many ways your donations can support our kids.
General Donation
Drop $5, $10, $20 or more into our general fund. Funds will be used at the band director & band booster board's discretion. A donation of $50 or more will earn you advertising space if you have something to advertise. See below.
Sponsorships
Sponsorships will come in many shapes and sizes. Just as a band is made up of many instruments, the band's needs are just as varied. Below you will find some specific ways you can support our kids.
Advertising Sponsors
Your sponsorship dollars could buy you advertising space on our website, our band tee shirts, in our monthly newsletter, on our instrument trailer, and in concert programs.
Any donation between $50 and $199 gets you advertising for six months, $200 to $500 gets you a full year. Please fill out the sponsorship form and return either via email or snail mail. If you prefer to pay for advertising with a check or money order, please send your payment along with the sponsorship form to the address on our contact page.

Feed the Band
On game day, band members do not have time to go home to eat, and due to changes in FWISD policy, they are no longer allowed to visit the concession stand. Therefore it is up to the band director and Band Boosters to make sure the band is fed dinner before each game.
It costs approximately $175 to provide each of our fifty students with a filling meal. This also includes one bottle of water and one soda.
